Mobile Fleet Technician Based out of Swedesboro, NJ, we are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Mobile Fleet Technician that can provide on‑site service to a growing network of loyal customers. Your mechanical aptitude, people skills and desire to grow will be essential to succeed in this role. What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers. Write detailed work orders and work mobile road calls and/or in‑yard jobs. Provide quality customer service. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components. Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers. Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required. Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires. Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Test all systems and equipment for performance issues. Ensure that trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road‑safety requirements. Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management. Respond promptly to client queries. What You’ll Need to Have 5+ years of verified experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Ability to lift 100+ pounds. Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing. Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks. Basic reading and writing skills for customer repair orders. What Will Help You Stand Out Experience with welding; certification is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent, technical school degree a plus. Class A CDL. Your own tools.
