CNC Machinist

CNC Mill Machinist / CNC Lathe Machinist

Are you a CNC Machinist who enjoys a variety of work, challenging setups, and the opportunity to take ownership of your machine? We're looking for an experienced CNC Mill or CNC Lathe Machinist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work on diverse projects across multiple industries in a true job shop environment, where no two days are exactly the same.

If you're confident with Fanuc controls, enjoy hands-on machining, and can independently set up and run your machine, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes equipped with Fanuc controls.
• Perform machine setups independently and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Utilize G & M code knowledge to support setup and machining operations.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Run short- to medium-volume production jobs ranging from 3 to 500 pieces.
• Work with a variety of materials, part sizes, and customer specifications.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring equipment.
• Working knowledge of G & M codes.
• Ability to perform setups with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Makino, Haas, or similar CNC machines.
• Programming experience.
• CAD/CAM and SolidWorks experience.
• Associate degree or technical diploma in Machine Tool Technology or a related field.

Work Environment

You'll work in a clean, organized, and well-equipped machine shop alongside a team of experienced professionals. This position offers a four-day workweek, giving you three-day weekends most weeks.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday
• 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Overtime available based on workload and production demands

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
