Speech Language Pathologist in New Market, MD

A contract position is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary schools in New Market, MD. This opportunity is to assist with increased caseloads in a public school district, with flexible full-time or part-time hours.


Location: New Market, Maryland (Elementary Schools)


Position Details:

• Contract length from ASAP through June 5th
• Support elementary school students with speech and language needs
• Flexibility in scheduling with full or part-time availability

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working within a school setting is a strong advantage
• Ability to manage and support increased caseloads effectively

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments identifying student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as necessary
• Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations
