Customer Accounts Advisor Corporate Retail Store Job ID 76866. Date posted 05/21/2026. The salary range for this role is $14.25 to $15 per hour. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance. Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by explaining lease benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. Advisors build relationships with customers over the phone and face‑to‑face, helping them move one step closer to ownership. Skills for Success Customer Account Advisors connect well with people, demonstrate empathy, listen attentively, explain things simply, and navigate difficult conversations. Strong multi‑tasking, organizational, negotiation, and persuasion skills are essential. Responsibilities Attain and maintain customers’ accounts, including updating customer information in the store computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments. Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreement(s) via home visits and phone calls. Sell customers the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments. Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals. Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management. Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned. Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily. Load, secure, and protect product in company vehicle. Safely operate company vehicle. Assist the Sales Team as needed. Perform any reasonable duties requested by management. Requirements United States: at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR. Canada: at least 18 years old. Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States). Ability to work a schedule of hours varying from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly. Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitask. Proper telephone etiquette. Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. No amount of pay is considered wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. Any bonus, commission, or other compensation remains at the company’s discretion.
