Scope includes both large-diameter, medium-pressure ductwork and small-diameter, low-pressure ductwork systems typical of lab HVAC and exhaust applications.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, hang, and support rectangular and round sheet metal ductwork, including large medium-pressure trunk lines and smaller low-pressure branch/lab exhaust runsRead and interpret mechanical drawings, ductwork shop drawings, and isometric layoutsFabricate and fit transitions, elbows, offsets, and fittings as needed in the fieldInstall duct supports, hangers, and seismic bracing per code and project specificationsSeal and tape joints/seams to meet SMACNA pressure-class leakage requirementsCoordinate installation sequencing with other trades in tight lab ceiling/wall cavitiesPerform ductwork pressure testing and support balancing/TAB readinessPay: $32 Per Diem: $150 a day for all 7 days if the required schedule has been worked.
