Product Manager - Data Onboarding
$210k - $245kTruveta
Truveta is the world’s first health provider‑led data platform with a vision of Saving Lives with Data. Our mission is to enable researchers to find cures faster, empower every clinician to be an expert, and help families make the most informed decisions about their care. Achieving Truveta’s ambitious vision requires an incredible team of talented and inspired people with a special combination of health, software, and big data experience who share our company values. Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere. In‑person attendance is required at least once per year for an onsite meeting. For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the Pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3 PM PT; however, ad‑hoc meetings occur between 8 AM‑6 PM Pacific time. Who We Need Truveta is rapidly building a talented and diverse team to tackle complex health and technical challenges. Beyond core capabilities, we are seeking problem solvers, passionate and collaborative teammates, and those willing to roll up their sleeves while making a difference. If you are interested in the opportunity to pursue purposeful work, join a mission‑driven team, and build a rewarding career while having fun, Truveta may be the perfect fit for you. This Opportunity At Truveta, we have an ambitious mission of “saving lives with data.” We transform real‑world healthcare experiences into insights that fuel research and improve patient outcomes at unprecedented speed and scale. We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for how Truveta connects with, extracts, processes, and operationalizes real‑world healthcare data across a rapidly expanding ecosystem of sources. This role is central to building the industry’s most scalable, intelligent, and efficient real‑world data onboarding platform. You will define and drive the roadmap for onboarding healthcare data with exceptional speed, quality, reliability, and security. Your work will help establish Truveta as the market leader in healthcare data connectivity and extraction by creating generalized, extensible capabilities that support diverse EHR technologies, health‑system‑specific implementations, and emerging data sources beyond EHRs. You will partner closely with engineering teams, operations, and health‑system partners to create and own an end‑to‑end onboarding strategy and execution model. Leveraging an AI‑first approach, you will translate product strategy into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions that accelerate onboarding velocity while improving usability, trust, operational efficiency, and customer experience. The ideal candidate combines deep healthcare data expertise with strong product leadership, strategic thinking, and execution excellence. You are energized by solving complex, high‑stakes problems and designing elegant solutions that scale across healthcare ecosystems. You bring a strong customer mindset, operational rigor, and a passion for building products that drive measurable business impact. Responsibilities Define and communicate the long‑term vision and strategy for Truveta’s data onboarding platform, creating a unified, intuitive, and scalable experience for both health systems and internal data teams. Own and drive the product roadmap for healthcare data connectivity, extraction, and onboarding at scale across multiple real‑world data sources. Partner closely with engineering leadership to prioritize investments, guide delivery, and build reliable, secure, extensible, and high‑performing onboarding platform capabilities. Translate product strategy into scalable technology requirements, ensuring alignment with Truveta’s growth objectives, operational goals, and compliance standards. Leverage AI‑first approaches to modernize onboarding workflows, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate onboarding velocity for terabytes of healthcare data. Build strong relationships with health‑system customers and users to continuously inform product direction through customer discovery, beta programs, and feedback loops. Define, monitor, and report on product KPIs related to adoption, onboarding velocity, operational efficiency, platform scalability, and customer satisfaction. Connect product investments and decisions to measurable business outcomes, clearly communicating impact, trade‑offs, and strategic priorities to leadership and stakeholders. Drive alignment across teams by fostering collaboration, transparency, and clarity around shared goals and execution plans. Required Qualifications 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technical or platform products. Strong understanding of healthcare data extraction, onboarding pipelines, data processing architectures, and large‑scale distributed systems. Deep experience working with healthcare data, electronic health records (EHRs), healthcare interoperability, or real‑world data ecosystems. Ability to thrive in ambiguity while bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to highly complex initiatives. Experience partnering closely with engineering organizations to deliver complex technical products from strategy through execution. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and external partners. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, customer stakeholders, and business teams. Passion for improving healthcare through data, technology, and innovation. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and technologies such as HL7, FHIR, CCD/C‑CDA, Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other major EHR ecosystems. Experience applying AI/ML‑driven approaches to workflow automation, data extraction, or operational optimization. Experience working directly with health systems, provider organizations, or healthcare operations teams. Strong understanding of healthcare security, compliance, and privacy requirements, including HIPAA and HITRUST considerations. A bias for action, collaboration, ownership, and clear communication across diverse technical and business teams. Benefits Interesting and meaningful work for every career stage. Great benefits package. Comprehensive benefits with strong medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. 401(k) plan. Professional development & training opportunities for continuous learning. Work/life autonomy via flexible work hours and flexible paid time off. Generous parental leave. Regular team activities (virtual and in‑person). The base pay for this position is $210,000 to $245,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options. Truveta is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and empowering workplace. We believe that having employees, interns, and contractors with diverse backgrounds enables Truveta to better meet our mission and serve patients and health communities around the world. We recognize that opportunities in technology historically excluded and continue to disproportionately exclude Black and Indigenous people, people of color, people from working‑class backgrounds, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ people. We strongly encourage individuals with these identities to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements. Please note that all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer as we are unable to sponsor work visas or permits (e.g., F‑1 OPT, H1‑B) at this time. We appreciate your interest in the position and encourage you to explore future opportunities with us. #J-18808-Ljbffr Truveta
