Primary Care Physician - VA Santa Maria | Veteran Services

Bring your expertise to a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient-centered care for our nation's Veterans. *Key Responsibilities:* * Deliver primary and acute care services to veteran patients in an outpatient setting * Provide same day care and coverage for other PACT providers as needed * Collaborate with mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants) * Demonstrate clinical competence in history-taking, examination, diagnosis, therapeutic ability, emergencies, patient management, consultations, and record keeping * Participate in Process Improvement/Quality Assurance projects and other administrative duties * Maintain patient treatment records and compliance with VA healthcare documentation standards * Engage performance measures and process improvement initiatives * Foster collaboration with supervisory and frontline staff to improve clinic operations * Experience or interest in Women's Health preferred Santa Maria, CA, situated on the picturesque Central Coast, is known for its favorable climate, rich agricultural heritage, and vibrant wine country.
