Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 - 23:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid RN license required Certifications: Current BLS certification required Must-Have: One year of experience in a PACU setting required. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia care to patients. Responsibilities include monitoring patient recovery and assessing vital signs. Nursing interventions will be performed based on individualized patient needs. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Comfort and safety of patients during the recovery period will be prioritized. Documentation of patient care activities is required as per established protocols. Participation in patient and family education will be expected. Maintaining a sterile and safe environment is crucial. Adherence to infection control policies will be a key component of the role. The RN will effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members. Support for patient mobility and comfort measures will be part of the job. Flexibility to meet changing patient needs will be important in this position.
