As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver entry activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Document daily activities, observed conditions, and/or incidents, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
