Overview Registered Nurse – Rehab, Albuquerque, NM. Travel assignment with a nights schedule starting 09/28/2026 for a weeks-duration. Weekly pay range: $2,295–$2,381. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 4x12 Nights. Setting: acute inpatient rehabilitation unit in a hospital. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,295–$2,381 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 per week Contract duration: weeks Shift: 4x12 Night shifts Start date: 09/28/2026 Setting: acute inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital Weekends: every other weekend required Pre-approved time off: up to 4 days RTO can be auto-approved with submittal Responsibilities Provide acute inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to adult patients (e.g., stroke/CVA, TBI, post-op, neuro/ortho) Assess patient status, implement care plans, administer medications, monitor vitals and device function Mobility and transfer support using appropriate assistive devices; promote safe functional recovery Tracheostomy care and suctioning; NG/PEG tube management and feeding precautions Wound care and pressure injury prevention; IV starts and IV maintenance Dysphagia precautions with thickened liquids; chart progress and respond to changes in status Document in the charting system (Epic preferred); collaborate with interdisciplinary team; participate in care rounds Adhere to unit protocols; float to like units within scope as needed; complete on-site RN orientation modules Requirements Active New Mexico RN license or NM/Compact-licensed, accepted prior to start BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care nursing experience; first-time travel nurses welcome Preferred: charge experience; ability to manage an 8-patient ratio on nights and weekends Education: current RN licensure; ability to work in an acute inpatient rehab setting Locational/assignment constraints: locals within a 50-mile radius not accepted; labs required within 48 hours of contract; all RTO must be listed at submittal (up to 4 days auto-approved) Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support available during assignment Onsite orientation modules and required clinical refreshers Clear timelines for onboarding tasks (labs within 48 business hours after contract) Transparent scheduling: pre-approved time off and travel logistics coordinated through your account manager Ongoing assignment support throughout the engagement Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
