WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced

Labor & Delivery RN

to join a high‑performing

L&D team at a respected hospital in Newton, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.

Job Function:

Rotating Shift.

3x12.

Assess and categorize patients into the

appropriate level

of care

Apply and interpret

external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity

Implement

timely

interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition

Identify

and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately

Administer medications safely

in accordance with

the

Five Rights

and infection‑control standards

Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines

Assist

physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care

Job Requirements:

Active RN License (state‑specific)

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or

Bachelors Degree in Nursing

(BSN)

BLS – Required

ACLS – Required

Labor & Delivery experience required

Minimum 1+ years of travel nursing experience required

Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
