Telecommunications Project Controller

Project Controller – Leidos Power Delivery Solutions Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will support a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwestern United States. This in‑office role is based out of Portland, Bend, or Medford, Oregon, depending on the selected candidate. Key Responsibilities Develop, monitor and maintain engineering and construction project budgets for public‑owned and investor‑owned electric utilities. Work with Project Management teams using earned value management techniques to align forecasts and costs, including recovery plans to stay within approved limits. Partner closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Managers and other client stakeholders to track and execute client deliverables. Support project teams with material tracking. Develop and produce weekly/monthly project control reports for client and internal management review, including resource loading analysis, schedules, critical path items and risk analysis. Interface directly with the client daily to report progress, schedule and risks across a portfolio of electric utility projects. Assist project managers with the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking. Review, interpret, and provide inputs to project schedules and identify risks. Required Qualifications Mid‑Level: 4–7 years of project controls experience. Senior‑Level: 7–10 years of project controls experience (pay ranges commensurate with candidate experience). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline. Demonstrated experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets and cost controls. Capability to plan, organize, direct and track technical efforts on project tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with customer representatives. Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with electric power infrastructure projects and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services. Experience working with U.S. electric utilities. Demonstrated success with a team approach to consulting. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $82,550.00 – $149,225.00.
