About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in the Sarasota, FL area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful one-on-one support that helps clients live their best lives at home. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes

Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands

Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities

Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors

Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities

Provide respite care support for family caregivers

Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients

Requirements:

Previous caregiving, home health, or companion care experience preferred

Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
