We are currently recruiting for the position of Shuttle Driver - CDL Class A.
LOCAL RUNS! HOME DAILY!
Shift/Work Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday, plus every other Wednesday.
The tasks and responsibilities for the Shuttle Driver are outlined below:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
- Follow DOT rules and regulations.
- Perform minor repairs to trucks/trailers as needed to keep all equipment running during the shift.
- Operate refrigerated trailers, and fuel trailers as needed.
- Communicate clearly with other drivers and customer to carry out assigned tasks.
- Ability to learn and drive Material Handling Equipment to pick and load trucks during off-shift orders.
The skills and qualifications required for the Shuttle Driver are outlined below:
- High school education or GED preferred.
- Class A CDL
- 3-5 years of experience driving a truck with a proven track record of similar duties.
- Experience in driving both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Attention to details in safety, record keeping, logging and inspections.
- Requires basic ability to use a tablet computer and software applications.
- Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
