Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Travel Job:

U.S. Nursing is seeking experienced and self-motivated travel Polysomnographic Tech for a potential strike in the fall.

Polysomnographic Technologist Qualifications:

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• BLS
• Minimum of two years experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist, within the past two years.
• Graduate of an accredited Polysomnographic program.

In addition you must:

• Commit to a full 9 days away from home, one U.S. Nursing receives the official 10-days notice.
• Be available to work ANY shift. U.S. Nursing does not guarantee shift placement.
• Hand-carry your complete file.
• Not be CURRENTLY WORKING or IN PROCESS for any Fastaff assignment.

Polysomnographic Technologist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment, gathering patient information, reviewing study protocols and providing explanations of procedures to patients of sleep studies
• Follow proper polysomnographic procedures, including applying electrodes and sensors, calibrating equipment and fitting the positive airways pressure mask.
• Record Scoring: testing preparation procedures, data acquisition and observation.
