Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Opportunity Details Ample opportunities to develop own subspecialty clinic and precept a Fellow’s clinic. Availability of various leadership positions from day one, opportunities to collaborate in clinical research and QI projects. Academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The call schedule is 1 in 6 weeks at-home. Fellows are first call. Qualifications Active and unrestricted New York State medical license Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $342,000* (Board Eligible); $347,000* (Board Certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $471,720** (Board Eligible) and $477,220** (Board Certified), including base salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors. Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $55,520. Projected bonus up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent on meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution: immediate vesting of 3% of base earnings; after one year, additional 7% company contribution.
