Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, 40 scheduled hours.

Start Date: 07/27/2026, End Date: 10/26/2026, Duration: 13 weeks.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license (required)
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Interventional radiology experience required
• EPIC experience preferred

Call Requirements: 2 shifts of call during contract.

Schedule Notes: Every other or every third weekend coverage as needed. Floating may be required.

High job requirements & qualifications:

• Previous charge experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills: Circulate procedures, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, interventional radiology, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring*, scrub procedures*, triage*

Unit details:

• Patient ratios: Days 1, nights 1, weekends 1
• Float required: PRN
• Call required: 2 shifts of call during contract
• Weekend coverage: 1 number of weekend shifts per contract
• Pre-approved time off: one
• Orientation hours: 30

• Patient age groups: Adults, geriatrics
• Daily census: 30
• Number of rooms: 9
• Additional unit information: Interdisciplinary support, patient diagnoses, interventional diagnoses and treatment unit

Special procedures/unit details: Lines, drains, ports, embolization, biopsy, parathor, all disciplines.

Special equipment: None.

Travel compliance:

• Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start, no exceptions.
• Screen for any candidate vacation time taking place immediately after booking as this will likely cause a push due to fingerprinting delays.
• Please only submit to one location. The AM team will find the best fit for the clinician.
• Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract.
• Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel.
• All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt.
• Reference requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted.
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
• RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Guaranteed hours: Contract weeks: 91.
