Standard days worked are Monday-Friday with occasional overtime and Saturday during busy times.Job SummaryThis operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of our cabinets.Responsibilities and DutiesIdentify the order sequence and stage product for buildersEnsure supplies for the day are stocked at area to prevent delaying assemblyUsing jigs and templates, install drawer guides and railsUsing jigs and templates, install finished doors and install handle hardwareUsing jigs and templates, install drawers and install handle hardwareFlexibility to move from one role to the next depending on production line and business needsSafety wrap completed cabinets for storage or deliveryIdentify quality issue with own work and/or product in assembly processIdentify safety issues and report to Group LeadMark completed orders in Salesforce to update build scheduleClean the work area throughout the shift.Essential SkillsBasic understanding of hand tools, including a chop saw, pneumatic nail and staple guns, cordless power drills and screwdriversAbility to read and comprehend drawings and company paperworkAble to use tape measureAble to perform to production demandsAbility to determine common quality defects in materialAbility to perform other duties requested or required by managementFollow direction and instruction - coachableWork well with other employeesFollow safety guidelineAbility to work overtime when neededPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.Move about the factory floor to access machinery, materials, and product storage.Transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Operate, activate, and use production machinery and hand tools that require repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers.Detects and inspect parts for quality control at close vision (less than 20 inches) and assess safety hazards from a distance (20 feet or more).The employee will be exposed to a manufacturing environment where the noise level can be loud and will work around moving mechanical parts. Regular exposure to airborne particles and temperature fluctuations should be expected.
