We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting for a multi-entity organization. This role will oversee the full close cycle, strengthen reporting quality, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and improve financial processes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and a hands-on approach to managing deadlines, controls, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Direct day-to-day accounting activities across the general ledger, reconciliations, and corporate reporting functions.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including review of journal entries, balance sheet support, variance analysis, and period-end adjustments.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with reporting requirements.
• Manage consolidation activities for multiple entities, including elimination entries and coordination of intercompany balances and settlements.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to confirm vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and related expenses are coded correctly and recorded in the appropriate period.
• Maintain oversight of accruals, cutoffs, and other key accounting estimates to support reliable financial results.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures to support compliance, audit readiness, and asset protection.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, shared services, and business leaders to address accounting issues and improve process efficiency.
• Coach and develop accounting team members by providing guidance, performance feedback, and career growth support.
• Oversee preparation of required regulatory filings, including 1099 reporting, and identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or similar accounting certification is strongly preferred.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience, with healthcare industry exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, multi-entity reporting, and intercompany accounting.
• Proven experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, cutoffs, and eliminations.
• Background working closely with Accounts Payable and handling the accounting impact of vendor payments and employee expense activity; Concur experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, audit support, and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
