Position Overview Salary range: $142,100–$429,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Position Description The Division of Clinical Nutrition in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applicants for a faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks. Candidates will be expected to provide consultation and care to patients at the Clinical Nutrition clinics, teach residents and medical students, participate in clinical research, and complete administrative duties as assigned. Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. degree and must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated training and/or experience in Clinical Nutrition. Primary clinical practice focuses on the treatment and prevention of obesity and obesity‑associated diseases of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, and fatty liver disease. Other areas include enteral parental nutrition, GI disorders, malnutrition, and nutrition oncology. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: An M.D. or D.O. is required. Additional Qualifications: Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated training and/or experience in Clinical Nutrition is preferred.
