Fitter Foreman

As a Fitter Foreman here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee the fitting and assembly operations, ensuring that all mechanical components are installed and maintained to the highest standards. You will play a critical role in coordinating teams, managing schedules, and maintaining quality and safety compliance on site.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our mechanical assembly processes, contributing directly to project success and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of fitters and other mechanical trades personnel to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide fitting and assembly tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all fitting operations.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in mechanical fitting and assembly with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and fitting techniques essential for overseeing installation and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to guide team activities.
• Experience with safety standards and practices relevant to mechanical fitting operations.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and team coordination to ensure efficient workflow.

WE VALUE

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Several years of experience in mechanical fitting and foreman roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of Honeywell safety and quality standards is a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $97,400 - $121,700. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
