Sr Counsel, IP

Kohler seeks a Senior Counsel, IP to lead global intellectual property strategy for its manufacturing businesses. In this role, you will manage patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret portfolios supporting innovative kitchen, bath, power, and hospitality products. Partnering closely with R&D, engineering, and design teams, you’ll identify inventions, perform freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, and guide protection of new technologies and designs. You’ll draft and negotiate IP provisions in technology and commercial agreements, manage outside counsel, support disputes and brand protection, and help shape Kohler’s innovation pipeline.
