Material Handler / Cherry Picker Operator Requisition Number: MATER007361 Job Summary: The Wasserstrom Company, a leading Food Service Distributor, is seeking a Material Handler / Cherry Picker Operator for our Dallas Distribution Center in Grand Prairie, TX. Location: TWC WXC-Grand Prairie TX 1201 Avenue R Grand Prairie, TX 75050, USA Compensation & Incentives: Performance Incentive Pay available; new market pay rates. First shift starts at 5:00 am - 1:00 pm; Monday-Friday with Saturdays required when needed. Less financial stress with Payactiv. Full‑time On‑site Responsibilities Load and unload product shipments from trucks to the shipping/receiving platform. Pick, put‑away, and count product from racking, cases, or pallets. Utilize RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item, quantity, and location for picking and receiving. Operate multiple pieces of motorized equipment safely and properly. Follow first shift schedule (5:00 am – 1:00 pm) and attend required Saturdays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 1–2 years of forklift experience preferred but not required.
