Cook/Kitchen Staff/Cleaner/Dishwasher Cafeteria Setting
Location: Huntington, WV Pay: $13.00 per hour (Increase if hired on perm) Schedule: 10:30a-7p Monday - Friday or 12:30p-9pm days off change
Our client in Huntington, WV is seeking someone experienced in multiple different roles. Dishwasher, Cook, Kitchen Cleaner, to join a fast-paced cafeteria environment. In this role, you will prepare and cook meals for a variety of guests while working the grill and other kitchen stations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and takes pride in preparing quality food.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications
- Deep Clean Kitchen Equipment
- Assist with Patient meal service
- Wash dishes/pots/pans
- Operate grill and other kitchen stations as assigned
- Ensure food is prepared safely, properly, and on time
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What You Need
- Previous cooking experience or dishwashing/kitchen cleaning required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen is a requirement.
- Food Safety Certification (can be obtained during training)
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Must follow required dress code:
- Black pants- (employee provides)
- Black chef coat (provided if cooking)
- Slip-resistant shoes (employee provides)
- Black cap (provided if cooking)
