Veterinary Cardiologist

Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) is a veterinarian-owned 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital located in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a full-time or part-time, board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join our collaborative team. Our team includes: one internist, two criticalists, two neurologists, two surgeons, an anesthesiologist, oncologist, and radiologist (5-day a week ultrasound coverage), along with a 24-hour emergency department. We are committed to delivering compassionate care and practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine for our patients and clients. We prioritize education, offering a range of in-house training for our support staff and CE lectures for our referring community. Our facility is equipped with two surgical suites, a dedicated imaging room, Olympus scopes, CT, 1.5T MRI, ultrasound (Aplio i700) for echocardiography, digital radiology, in-house lab equipment, emergency ultrasound, and multi-parameter anesthetic monitoring equipment. We are proud of our strong reputation with referring veterinarians and foster a positive, supportive workplace culture for our dedicated team of doctors, technical staff, and management. This is an opportunity to build and lead our Cardiology service from the ground up, working alongside a full team of experienced and passionate technicians and assistants, and in close collaboration with our Internal Medicine, Criticalist, and Surgery teams on shared cases. Our specialists work as a team, discussing difficult cases and covering each other's patients when one doctor is out of the hospital so that days off can truly be spent focusing on family and/or other life pursuits and passions!
