The successful candidate will ensure that all services are procured at the best possible cost, quality, and delivery time, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Duties and Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate potential transportation and logistics service providersNegotiate rates, terms, and conditions with suppliersManage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual agreementsMonitor supplier performance and take corrective action as necessaryCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategiesManage procurement data and maintain accurate recordsProvide reports and analysis to management as neededEducational background / Work experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics procurement, preferably in a global organizationSkills & Competencies:Strong negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of procurement best practices and industry trendsProficient in Microsoft Office suitePreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fieldProfessional certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPSM)Fluent in English (oral and written)Computer LiteracyProficient in procurement software and toolsKnowledge of ERP systems and data analytics tools is a plus.At Will Employment: DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as "at will" employees.The expected base pay range for this position is $102,312 - $127,890 annually.
