Overview St. Louis Children’s Hospital is dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. Role Purpose Performs psychological evaluations, assessments, psychotherapy and consultation during the course of treatment for patients and their families. Responsible for program development, management and effectiveness. Responsibilities Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Provides psychology clinical services to patients and their families. Manages operations of the department, and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments. Acts as a resource and liaison to hospital staff and outside community. Develops and coordinates psychology training program. Initiates independent and collaborative research initiatives, and disseminates research findings through publications and presentations.
