Cardiovascular Sonographer / Echocardiography TechnologistLocation: Murray, UT 84107Contract: 13 WeeksShift: 3×12-Hour Days | Variable Weekdays & WeekendsPay Rate:Local: $65/hr on W2Travel: $2,590.51/Weekly Gross (Stipends: $1,546.51 Included)Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), including the use of contrast agents and bubble studies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography examinations according to established protocols. Perform primarily adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in an inpatient environment. Demonstrate proficiency with contrast-enhanced and bubble echocardiography. Prepare patients for exams, verify patient identification, and explain procedures to patients and families. Coordinate exams with physicians, nursing staff, medical offices, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and stability throughout the examination. Obtain and evaluate high-quality diagnostic images. Accurately document exam results, patient information, and required charges. Return patients safely to their rooms following inpatient examinations. Maintain equipment, exam areas, and adequate supplies. Identify equipment or supply issues and coordinate appropriate follow-up. Communicate patient-related information effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. Provide guidance and education to staff, fellows, and students as appropriate.Requirements1+ year of relevant experience.Strong experience with adult transthoracic echocardiography.Experience with contrast agents and bubble echo.BLS – Required.Active certification/registry through one of the following:ARDMS – applicable registry such as VascularCCI – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)CCI – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
