Kindly Direct Care is seeking a dependable Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one in-home and community support position in Middlesex County.
About This Opportunity
Seeking a reliable and compassionate DSP to provide 1:1 support to an individual who resides in a family setting. In the home there will also be two adult siblings with special needs.
Responsibilities May Include
Assist with Personal care, hygiene, showering, dressing, changing, feeding assistance
Provide Mobility support when applicable and when trained/authorized.
Support daily routines and encourage the individual to participate as independently as possible.
Provide one-to-one supervision, companionship, and safety support.
Assist with community participation, errands, appointments, and meaningful activities as applicable.
Follow individualized care, behavioral, medical, and safety instructions within DSP scope and training.
Observe for and promptly report changes or concerns.
Complete required service documentation, timekeeping, and communication accurately and on time.
Qualifications
Comfortable providing the hands-on personal care specifically required by this assignment.
Reliable, respectful, patient, and attentive to safety.
Able to follow detailed instructions and maintain professional boundaries.
Prior DSP, HHA, CNA, PCA, home care, behavioral health, or disability-services experience REQUIRED for this assignment.
Able to meet the physical requirements of the assignment as discussed during screening.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30PM - 8:30PM
Pay: 25-28/hr
Location: Iselin NJ 08830
Driving on shift: NOT REQUIRED
Please note: This individual resides in a family setting. In the home there will also be two adult siblings with special needs. We are looking for someone patient, caring, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
