Front Desk Receptionist

Vernis & Bowling is seeking a motivated full-time receptionist for its DeLand office. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team. This is a path to becoming a legal assistant or paralegal!Our receptionist will be the main point of contact for the firm and the first impression.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:-Handling A/P for client costs-Comfortable answering incoming telephone calls-Routing calls to appropriate individuals within the office-Greeting clients and visitors-Receiving, collecting, sorting, preparing and distributing mail-Courier deliveries-Forwarding all incoming faxes-Entering data into the firm case management system-cross training opportunities-assist with other day to day duties as assignedBusiness hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.Benefits:-Medical Insurance-Voluntary Vision and Dental Insurance-Voluntary Life Insurance-Short- and Long-Term Disability-401(k)
