Status: Part Time

Reports To: F & B Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Greets guests and maintains professional and friendly levels of service, strives to ensure cleanliness and prompt service

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greets, welcomes and invites our guests back.
• He/She must be knowledgeable of all the menu items including the beverages, and the ingredients and posses the ability to describe them to the guests.
• Maintain clean-as-you-go practice.
• Bus tables as needed.
• Handles all cash transactions.
• Helps with preparation as needed.
• Prepares supplies for new shift ( fills dishes, napkin holders, mints, toothpicks, ice machine, etc.).
• Attends all meetings and/or training sessions as required.
• Informs supervisor of any guest complaints, may have them fill out a comment /suggestion card.
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must posses basic math and computer skills.
• Must posses excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
• Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Pre-employment drug testing with applicants receiving an offer of conditional employment.
• Must be able to obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Gaming License.

REQUIREMENT
• Experience working in food service or previous hostess experience helpful.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Good interpersonal skills required.
• Must be reliable (good attendance and punctuality), organized, flexible, and posses excellent time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Must possess a high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.
