Echocardiography Technician - Variable Shift

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician proficient in Adult Echocardiography including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, and Valvular disease studies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and effusions, as well as 2D & 3D Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs) and hypertensive heart disease studies. Pediatric experience is a plus, though not required. Familiarity with Canon i700 and i900 equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Conduct Doppler studies and color flow mapping.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in patient care and support services within the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• RDCS certification required; ARDMS or CCI certification accepted.
• Active AHA BLS certification.

Schedule

This position requires a 40-hour shift with call responsibilities as appropriate. Flexibility is required, including floating to other departments as necessary.
