Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,430 per week

Position Summary TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lewisville, Texas. This position starts on 05/25/2026 and will last 13 weeks. Work 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Specialty & Discipline Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Job Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. Document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, and delegate to other care providers as appropriate. Provide education and support to patient families, including for long‑term care needs. Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing. Communicate patients' conditions to family members. Physical & Miscellaneous Requirements ICU Travel Nurses must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. They should be able to lift 20 pounds and may need to lift or move patients up to 50 pounds at times. They will face hazards from exposure to certain chemicals or infectious diseases and may treat patients who are confused, agitated, or uncooperative. Qualifications 1-2 years recent acute care experience. ACLS and BLS certification for at least 1 year. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Pay & Benefits Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
