RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Block schedules cannot be accommodated
• 1 year Emergency Department experience in Level 1 trauma center OR 2 years in Level 2 trauma facility required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), TNCC, NIHSS
• Current RN license meeting Missouri eligibility criteria
• Work in 68-bed emergency department with 4:1 patient ratios
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Black scrubs required - unprofessional attire not acceptable
• Serve patients of all age groups in busy urban trauma center environment
• Handle 200+ patients per day with high acuity cases
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• RTO must be made up on back end, not approved first week
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift
