Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Machinist for projects located in or around Decatur, AL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $29/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Set up and operate manual machine shop equipment including engine lathes, mills, and drill presses
Manufacture and fabricate parts to precise specifications
Perform maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment
Complete skilled precision and bench work
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of relevant manual machining experience
Must have experience operating lathes, mills, and drill presses in an industrial setting
Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Trade school education or applicable machining training is preferred
