Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Special Education Resource Teachers who are interested in working in a school setting. In this role, you will support elementary-aged students with special education needs in a resource classroom environment. Please see the job details below for more information.

Location: Rockingham County Schools

Job Description and Requirements:

2026-2027 School Year
3 Full-Time Openings
Elementary School Caseload
Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with special education needs in a resource setting
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Supportive and collaborative school environment
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Must hold or be eligible for appropriate state Special Education Teaching Certification/Licensure
