Responsibilities Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans. Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences. Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources. Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, people receiving services, and family members. Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice. Current CPR Certification. At least one year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist. Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred. Effective and professional communication skills in verbal and written interactions. Ability to lift 50 pounds; transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods. Physical tasks such as pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times. Requirement to pass a health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter. Salary Range USD $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 / Year #J-18808-Ljbffr
