AWS Architect

- Job Title: AWS Architect
- Role: Tech lead in the Advisory organization for developing cloud-native services
- Main Responsibilities: Designing, architecting, and developing solutions using modern cloud-based architecture and tools, redesigning legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, building and defining best practices, building scalable/resilient solutions, and participating in Scrum/Kanban delivery model
- Ideal Candidate: Strong collaborators who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and able to execute in a creative and continuously improving way
- Experience Required: 5+ years of designing and developing utilizing common AWS services, 10+ years of proficiency in C#, .Net Core, and full-stack development, 10+ years of experience working with RDBMS technologies, 5+ years' experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and 3+ years of leadership experience
- Core Competencies: Understanding of distributed/decoupled systems and relational/non-relational databases, experience with AWS's Well-Architected Frameworks, understanding of modern work practices such as DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Agile project Delivery, Release Engineering, and experience in a hands-on technical leadership role
- Preferences: Any AWS certificate, experience with confluent/MSK Kafka, any RDS specialization, excellent communication skills, and ability to convey technical solutions to the entire organization and work with senior leaders to leverage technology for positive business outcomes.
