Behavior Technician

Responsibilities Teach independence through communication, social, and daily living skills. Apply ABA techniques to reduce challenging behaviors and build new skills. Collect and analyze data to track progress and guide treatment plans. Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Make a real impact – every single day. Settings Tradewinds Education Center – support students ages 5–21 with significant behavioral and developmental challenges in a therapeutic learning environment. New Discoveries Learning Center – work with preschoolers ages 3–5 in an inclusive setting preparing them for kindergarten, emphasizing hands‑on learning, social development, and early intervention services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Youth & Adult Residential Programs – provide care and support in our Children’s Residential Program (CRP) and Adult Residential Programs, creating home‑like environments where individuals can thrive. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field. A passion for helping individuals with autism and IDD succeed. Commitment to earning Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within your first year. Compensation Starting pay: $21.23 per hour. Career Ladder Behavior Technician 6‑Month Comprehensive Clinical Apprenticeship. Weekly supervision from Licensed BCBA. Learn foundational clinical skills.
