Essential Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Clinical Experience: Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Licensure: An active license in Washington State or the capability to secure one before commencing the assignment.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
  • Preferred Experience: Background in skilled nursing facilities and familiarity with dysphagia assessments and treatments are advantageous.
