Key Responsibilities

• Represent municipalities and public entities in legal matters involving governance, compliance, contracts, and litigation
  
• Advise clients on employment, labor, litigation, regulatory, and operational matters
  
• Draft and negotiate contracts, resolutions, pleadings, ordinances, and legal memoranda
  
• Conduct legal research, risk analysis, and case strategy development
  
• Attend public meetings, hearings, negotiations, and client consultations
  
• Collaborate with attorneys and leadership on complex legal matters
  
• Support client relationship development and community engagement initiatives
  

Qualifications

• Active admission to the New Jersey Bar
  
• 10+ years of legal experience preferred
  
• Experience in municipal law, public entity law, labor/employment law, litigation, or related practice areas strongly preferred
  
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills
  
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
  
• Ability to manage matters independently and client relationships
  
• Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service excellence
