American Airlines Flight Attendant

Instruct helicopter type ratings, recurrent flight training, and special flight courses for AWTA in accordance with the relative syllabus, in a timely and professional manner. Participate in the development of new training courses and ensure a high level of paperwork and record keeping. Occasional off‑site course delivery may be required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver Pilot Type Rating and Recurrent Flight courses (70%) Deliver other training courses as applicable (10%) Study and train as needed to remain current as an instructor and examiner pilot; stay informed on standards, procedures, and regulations (5%) Complete all required training paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion (5%) Assist in the ongoing development of AWTA curriculum, products, and services (4%) Maintain and update training materials and publications (3%) Perform other duties and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned (3%) Qualifications Education : Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating; 3000+ total flight hours. CFI required; CFII preferred. Experience : Minimum 5 years performing helicopter instruction and/or flying. Must possess instructor/examiner experience in helicopters, strong IFR knowledge, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
