Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $23-$24

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day coordination of purchase orders, sales orders, and shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. This role works closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues, monitor backorders, and maintain accurate order information within the ERP system. The ideal candidate has at least three years of logistics or supply chain experience with a strong operational background and hands-on ERP experience.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain purchase orders and sales orders within the ERP system.
• Track and follow up on backordered, delayed, and incomplete shipments to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate shipment updates and delays.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, and delivery issues.
• Verify shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records within the ERP system.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of logistics, supply chain, or transportation experience in an operational environment.
• Experience updating and managing purchase orders and sales orders within an ERP system.
• Strong ERP experience required, including order processing and shipping transactions.
• Experience monitoring and resolving backorders, incomplete shipments, and delivery issues.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, inventory movement, and shipping processes.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of freight carriers, shipping documentation, and transportation logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
