Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities include: Drafting motions, petitions, and other legal documents for filings with Boards, the Office of Administrative Hearings, or NC State Courts. Electronically filing documents via the OAH website and NC courts. Preparing state court filings by mail, including creating transmittal letters, printing documents, obtaining signatures, and organizing copies. Creating case timelines, which are essential for case management and attorney reference. Preparing trial and hearing binders with exhibits and exhibit lists, following detailed procedures. Conducting legal research to support cases and expanding the firm’s legal resources database. Qualifications: Paralegal Certification in NC. At least three years of experience as a NC certified paralegal.
