Description: This is a backfill contract position for an RRT. The shift schedule is from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This position does not require call duty. The role involves working with 7-9 staff members on the night shift. Patient assignments are based on volume, with approximately 35-40 patients per shift for respiratory therapy. The unit uses GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC equipment. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Candidates must have adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting to be considered. Preferred candidates will have adult critical care experience, including ICU or emergency department exposure. Standard respiratory therapy procedures will include nebulizers, CPT, arterial blood gases, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, and transporting patients with mechanical ventilation within the facility. The ideal candidate should be capable of collaborating easily with team members in the respiratory therapy department and across other disciplines.
