Role Description The Automotive Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located at Ray Catena of Freehold in Freehold, NJ. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine vehicle maintenance, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and completing repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This role also involves accurately documenting work performed, collaborating with service advisors, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing clear communication about vehicle status and repair needs. Technicians are expected to follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive, customer-focused service environment. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in vehicle maintenance and routine service procedures, including electrical and mechanical diagnosis. Experience in automotive repair and general maintenance & repair tasks, including basic diagnostics and troubleshooting. Knowledge of suspension systems, including inspection, repair, and replacement of key components. Experience working with luxury or European vehicles is an advantage. Ability to use diagnostic tools, follow technical service bulletins, and read repair manuals accurately. Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented service department. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
