Field Service Technician

About the Role As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the customer‑oriented technical support of Hach’s equipment portfolio within your region. This includes commissioning, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and product improvement support. You will work closely with sales to recommend service contracts and replacements, and you will act as the primary point of contact for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your working day typically starts and ends at home. If a safe return home within working hours is not possible, you may stay overnight at a hotel (average 1–2 nights per week). You will manage the entire Hach product portfolio for water and wastewater measurement, from commissioning and customer briefing to maintenance and repairs, and provide installation support for test setups or customer orders. Key Responsibilities Provide customer‑oriented technical support for Hach equipment Commission, inspect, maintain, and repair equipment Offer product enhancement support and installation assistance Collaborate with sales to extend service contracts and replacements Maintain high customer satisfaction and loyalty through personal contact Essential Requirements Training as an industrial electronics technician, process specialist in wastewater, or similar ClassB driving licence Willingness to travel for business, including overnight stays (1–2 nights per week, depending on residence) Strong personal qualities, both competence and personality, valued equally Location Residence within the Skåne area is required.
