Sr. MRI Scrub Radiology Technologist - Operating Room (OR) - Days (3 x 12's) - Barnes

Senior MRI Technologist – Operating Room (Day Shift) Position at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital New Plaza West Tower, full‑time, 40 hours per week. Eligible candidates receive a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Position Details Day Shift Hours: 3 days per week, 12 hour shifts. Training on day shift 5 days per week for approximately 3 months before moving to 3‑day rotation. Advanced Modality Technologist – Siemens MRI machines. Benefits eligible. Requirements Associate degree or higher in a related field. Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R). Experience Experienced MRI Technologists applied. Experience with MRI, CT, RT, X‑ray, arry etc. (see list of modalities below). Experience in operating room, interventional, surgical, or related imaging roles is preferred. Responsibilities Prepare patient and equipment for procedures. Perform studies independently, including on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required. Assist with regulatory compliance (ACR, JC) and maintain up‑to‑date regulatory information. Oversee department quality assurance program under guidance of Clinical Instructor or Lead/Charge. Participate in department or hospital safety/quality process improvements and initiatives. Lead the team in improving patient experience and/or employee engagement. Mentor new employees and/or clinical students under direction of the CI. Maintain constant state of alertness and perform safely as this is a safety‑sensitive position. Minimum Requirements Associate or trade‑school equivalent education. 2‑5 years of experience. No supervisory experience required. IEMA – Illinois only, exclusive for MRI; R.T.(R), CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS. Preferred Qualifications 5‑10 years of experience.
