Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

• Start Date: As Soon as Credentialed for minimum of 3 months
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• ShiftS:10-hour shifts mostly 7 on/7 off with some call coverage a portion of the week. The CampA side receives intakes from the ED. They will not be called back to the facility at all after leaving for the day. It will likely be psych consults from Emergency Department admissions.
• Daily Patient Volume: The unit census is 24- split between two docs and 1 APP. The CampA doc who is on call does all consults and evals for the day. The other docs cover follow-up and the unit. It s a 10-hour shift but everyone is done within 8 hours the majority of the time. We are seeing anywhere from 1 to 3 admits a day so the remainder of the unit would be follow-up.
• The unit can swing 4 beds heavy to either pediatric or adolescent depending on admits. So with 24 beds pediatric could go has high as 16 or as low as 8. The same with adolescents depending on how we swing the beds. With Locum we tend to let them take the side they are most comfortable and have our docs swing the other unit
• Requirements: Must be C&A Board Certified
• Support Staff: One practice manager for the group. On the unit there will be other hospital staff dependent on the unit covered generally including techs nurses and social workers. There is MMA/PSG AP staff available for service with HampP.
