Medical Interpreting Opportunities (High Demand) Job Type: Contract Work Location: In person Medical Interpreting Opportunities (High Demand) We are currently seeking Portuguese interpreters for in-person assignments across: DMV Area (DC, MD, VA) These assignments are primarily in medical settings , offering consistent opportunities for qualified interpreters. IMPORTANT – Medical Compliance Required To be eligible for medical assignments (the majority of our work) , candidates must have the following vaccinations: TDAP MMR Varicella TB Flu Candidates without these will not be eligible for most assignments Responsibilities Provide accurate interpretation during medical and community appointments Facilitate communication between patients and providers Maintain confidentiality and professionalism Requirements Fluency in English and Portuguese Prior interpreting experience preferred Must be located in or near the listed areas Willingness to travel locally for assignments Vaccination records required for medical work Additional Information Freelance / contract-based Flexible scheduling Consistent demand for medical interpreters Rates discussed during the recruiting process Make a meaningful impact while growing your interpreting career in high-demand medical environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ad Astra, Inc.
